Just my opinion, but we have a silver Tacoma running around my town with a tan ST. I don't like it at all.

It reminds me of someone buying a used bed cap with intentions of matching the color of their truck, but never do.

Again, just my opinion. My comment carries no weight.

I'm running tan with copper. I think it compliments well. But to each their own.
No offense taken, I love my setup but everyone has their style and likes. Just seems like people get too butthurt on here when you express your h9nest opinion on things. Either way the softopper is a solid investment for anyone lookimg to buy

I know a company makes a bed rack with them installed but it wouldn't work with a softopper

Well, I didn’t take it/post it, but it looks like the Alabama Hills east of the Sierra crest in California.

i searched and looks like I'll be fine but I just want to clarify that the precut bedrails etc for the factory bed cover will not get in the way of the install of a softopper IMG_1447.jpg IMG_1451.jpg

Yep, no problem. I removed the front support bracket though.

Yes, just 2 torx screws to remove it though. It would be under the inside flap.

    my build tread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/socal-no-shame-poser-build.513084/
    Question on install:

So I mounted the front flap with the provided snaps. But the rear flap that rests on tailgate is not secured. At 50mph plus it flaps around. I dont know if it is damaging anything by scratching paint or wearing on fabrick but Idont want to have to unsecure it every time i drop my tailgate. Is everyone letting it just flap around camando style?

But everthing else is great Im loving it

    Mine does.
I never bothered to attach the velcro to the tail gate. I did run a strip of packaging tape along the top of the gate. Now the flap beats against the tape and not the paint. Its been like that for 40k miles. I doubt I'll ever bother with the velcro.

I did the magnet strip thing and it works well but eventually the adhesive let go. Since then Ive just let it flap. I did do one thing when I had the mag strip and I'm glad I did. Put a strip of 2" clear bra across the tailgate where the flap makes contact to protect the paint.
