The same shit everyone else has.
I have a Bestop and sleep in it ALL the time. Way better than a tent at this point. Keeps ya of the ground and dont have to dick around setting it up. Ive used a full size air mattress, a sleeping pad/self inflating pad, and Im currently using a cot/self inflating pad under mine.

2 mpg is his imagination but there should be a small negative impact on mileage. There is an "air cushion" that forms over the bed of a pickup truck so air actually flows rather smoothly from the top of the cab over the "air cushion" to behind the truck in a fairly smooth manner. Its not intuitive but removing the tailgate eliminates the "air cushion" and actually increases turbulence which is less aerodynamic and reduces mileage. Installing any top, hard or soft, does the same thing by creating turbulence behind the big square trail. But a hard cap will have a bigger impact simply due to weight. And good luck easily removing or folding down a hard cap when you don't need it. :)

It would probably depend on whether you drive mostly city or highway. I've not noticed any loss around town but I haven't made any long highway trips yet.

The same as a rigid bed cap. I've had both. I can tell no difference.

Never had any really big issues but when it’s rained here, I’ve seen little water come in from the corners, but nothing major.

It’s not enough to deter camping. I actually am on night three off camping in it this weekend right now

Any thoughts on the BedRug with the SofTopper vs the OEM Tacoma BedMat. I currently have the OEM Tacoma BedMat, but am considering getting the full BedRug when I get my SofTopper. From what I have read from the previous 170 pages; the SofTopper keeps the bed nice and dry.

    Stock....ish
I wouldn't. It keeps it dry for the most part but it does get wet in there. Or you can inspect your bedrug for mold every few months.

What would you do with the BedRug when the SofTopper was folded down? Or do you plan to run with it up all the time?
