No I have not, and not to bash on BS, but I’ve heard from a few people that the BS is more of a pain to set up and to put on the windows since the canvas can get pretty stiff. In other words, unless you’re doing it on a warm day, you’ll be struggling. It’s just what I’ve heard..

My Bestop gets a bit damp on cold mornings, windows fogged. Once or twice the windows were dripping in the morning. I put my shoe in the tailgate flap to keep it cracked open & resolved that issue. Rain would surely make it damp inside if you don't vent it.

Anyone who bought a Softopper recently: How long did it take to ship and arrive?

I've got a trip coming up at the end of May, and have a paycheck a week and a half before that trip. I'm thinking about ordering a Softopper then, and want to figure out if it'll arrive in time to install.

    THX!

Wasn't that long, but I wouldn't wait if possible. Order it on a card maybe a week earlier than your paycheck, then pay card, therefore no interest.

Noice, thanks for the feedback, y'all. I may just say "F it" and order next week. Can't hurt to get it earlier and set up beforehand!

I'll post pictures when I get it.

Well, I said "F it" and ordered one. I will be getting the grey version to put on my silver SR5. Will post pics when I receive and install!

    Stock!
Does anyone have long term experience with the softopper in consistently cold/freezing temps and snow?

Wondering how it would hold up to these conditions. Also, if anyone is selling a 6ft topper, let me know. :)

If you don't open the back when it's freezing, you might be ok, but the back widows don't like cold, the become fragile.

Call them and ask for free shipping. They are really awesome and usually agree to it. I had mine in a few days.

I bought mine used on this forum six years ago and it is holding up great
In the northern Adirondack Mtns of N.Y. Just like spare parts said be careful of the back window. No problem in the snow or freezing rain.
    Fantastic material.

Aww crud, I went and ordered via the site and paid the $40 shipping. Meh. Eventually I'll order the cover (to put on when it's folded down) and the solid rear panel. I'll call them when I do that and see if they'll ship those bits cheaper!

Topper should get delivered Tuesday... I should be able to install it Wednesday or Thursday afternoon, methinks.

There is just something about the soft topper that really finishes off the look for me.

3rd gen topper on a 2nd gen. Sits just below the cab and avoids a lot of the wind drag between the rear window. Much more aesthetically pleasing silhouette IMO.

Thanks Harley! I waited so long to find the perfect one (used). I was about to buy a new one, but just had a hard time justifying the price that comes with it.
