That’s a bummer. I haven’t been there in years, but lived in Jackson for a while in another life. Definitely had some epic times out there

What bed rack is that? I have a 3rd gen but the only one I found that fits over the softopper is from SoS Concepts.

I have had my topper since april or may of last year and never thought about this but as i am too lazy to stitch i might just put strong 3M tape on one side of the magnet and the inside of the rear flap, may try it for the front flap too since the stuff that came with it never worked that well and see how that goes. i havent had mine on all summer, but im going to put it on tomorrow.

i think that's the optional rack from Softopper, if i'm not mistaken (someone please correct me if i'm wrong). rises above the topper pretty significantly.

Are you able to roll up the front window (up by the cab) on a Softopper?

Nope. There is a flap that hangs between the cab and the box and flap that hangs in the box. There are no buckles across the top of the ST either.

This is from @JeepAndrew ! He is located near Tucson, Arizona. Unless you live in Arizona or are willing to drive to him, I doubt he would make another. He only does this stuff part time out of his garage. I do know that @Mobtown Offroad is looking at making them or at least has done one so far. I saw it on their IG post a while back.

Oh awesome. I feel like he could get quite a market for it if he made more. The one from SoS is $700 barebones without shipping. That one from @JeepAndrew looks sweet though! simple and too the point not overdone!

I like it a lot. I now wish I had him put tabs on for a high lift, axe, fire extinguisher, and some other accessories. I did have a RTT for a few months on top, but I sold it a little over a year ago. I broke the ladder on the RTT on night trying to get up. Realized the ladders are rated at 325lbs. I was over 400lbs at that point and didnt realize that just over a year later I would be about 290lbs. I also didnt have anywhere to store it either. It was on top of the truck 24/7. As a result, I was getting about 11mpg in town. I sold the RTT for $900 and I had bought it for $999 from Freespirit. It had an annex that I didnt even unwrap. They are nice, but I definitely need a place to store it the next time I buy one.

Couple questions for anyone that follows this thread or might know. I have had the supertop for a few years now. Im wondering if anyone came up with a way to transport the windows with you while you have the topper down. Also, any canvas cover for the topper when it's folded down? I'm thinking a cover like they have for boat canopies or some bestops for Jeep's.

All the Bestop accessories I see are listed for Jeep's, same with the aftermarket stuff. In theory the cover should also work for the truck topper if they are the same width. I'll try calling when I can get a hold of someone.

Edit: Found some examples of what I was trying to describe.

i cant say specifically for a bestop, but i have a softopper and the sides and rear fold up on top of the topper before folding it. can you not do the same with the bestop?

also, softopper makes a storage boot. i would think this would also work for a bestop. i cant see there being a huge difference in dimensions.

Felt. Go to a craft store and get some large pieces of felt. Lay one down, then a window, lay another felt layer, then a window, etc... Roll it up like a sleeping back (gently, and only when clean and in warm weather) and you'll have a well protected bundle. Tie it off with whatever you like, spare felt, rope, ratchet. It'll look like you're on your way to yoga with a yoga mat, but it is probably the best way to keep the windows from getting damaged.

I was looking for a cover for both. When I have the supertop down, I want to cover the topper and also store the windows. I used a long waterproof bag that fits the windows rolled up but haven't found anything for the actual top.

I have a waterproof rifle bag that fits the rolled up windows but I like the felt idea. I'll pick some up to roll up the windows in the bag. Thank you.
