I hope so. Now that the pattern is all worked out, they look great.

Just out of curiosity, what is the purpose of this? Can you still fold the topper down with the RTT there?

Yes, the tent cover isn't necessarily needed anymore after this. And because a plain topper sitting on a truck isn't as obvious as a high dollar tent with a fancy cooler and gear hanging out. This setup allows full bed access because most of the bars and all of the tent is above the bed. You can fold open the tent without crushing the topper frame. Fold your tent, close your topper and be on your way.

Yes, it's a tight fit to keep the tent and most of the bars above the bed and still have room for the topper bars to fold into a pocket that won't be crushed when you open the tent.....But it works, and you still have the whole bed open.

This is the only view I have that shows that the bars are above the bed quite a bit. I tried to put the tent and the bars into the area that the topper creates when I designed this bend profile. The only bed space used is where the frame would be folded in the bed anyway.

Wondering what color you guys think look best on a second gen timberland mica. Looking at a tan topper on CL, but unsure how it will look on the truck.

I found this, I'm not in love with it but it's not ugly.

Probably not many people have them as they were discontinued rather quickly but the KB VooDoo Outboard Bike Mount works with the Softopper Rails. Actually went with a little firmer one sided rubber so once the bracket was tightened all sat flush.

I will get a better picture as that's the white rubber padding and I switched it out for black

What kind of rack over the topper are you using for the tent?

Is that the NP? I’ve only driven thru it and on one short trail there. I’ve covered the entire Big Bend Ranch state park several times.

Can’t you just put that in the bed? I’d much rather theow it in the bed than have it hanging off the side where I’d worry about it the whole time.
