I've camped several times with no modifications. Albeit it was Cold so no bugs and ventilation's wasn't an issue.

You can seal it up pretty well by getting the front velcro in the right spot. Only gaps are at the tailgate at each corner. Could probably stuff a sock in there or something for good measure. Also, screen rear window for vents.

Close... but definitely my second favorite right behind Spruce Mica

Sadly... this is the day I realized I should have bought a full-size... I don't think she's sticking around very long. Weight slip at the bottom was with just me, no passenger, only a half filled cooler, 2 kayaks, some luggage. I'm basically at the GVWR and GAWR. It makes a seriously strong argument though for a lightweight solution like a softopper on these trucks compared to a fiberglass shell.

Even shorter trips we kennel her. You never know when you're gonna get nailed. I love the softopper because on summer days you can open the sides and still drive with it. She gets plenty of ventilation AND shade

I got mine for camping. So far my wifey is loving it. Installed some silver insulation sandwiched between the canvas and tube on top for insulation and ziptied both ends to hold the ends tight. Bought a little mr heater so we've been camping this time of year. I just leave a part unzipped for ventilation I.t's been great. It's warm and cozy inside even though it's freezing outside. .

Can the softopper be used with a hi lift or quickfist mounts on the bed rails? Can't find the info anywhere, but it looks like folding down the topper, the rails will interfere with mounts installed on the rails.

Sure can. The mounts are relentless fabrication.

It's an underrated color! We threw it on my buddies Spruce Mica and it looked awesome as well. I think if you have gunmetal wheels, the grey ST is the way to go.

Yup. Thanks for the feedback. Silver sky truck and gunmetal ray 10's. That's what I think will make it look good on the truck too.

Just installed. Charcoal gray on SSM looks good. Glad I did this instead of black. IMG_6362.jpg

Anyone ever have a rear on the side panel of their softopper? Any way I can get just the panel or do I need to get the whole top canvas replaced?

Sorry, it was supposed to read tear. I have a pretty long tear on the driver side panel.
