When I had it further back, the canvas did not have enough room to get around the bar

Figured I'd throw a heads up on this thread - I have a 3rd gen, grey, short bed Softopper for sale on this site - bought it new last year, $400 in great shape. Pickup/delivery Columbus, OH area.

You can also adjust the center pin "bracket" by looseing the two 10mm(?) Bolts that hold it.

I'd play with the fitment of all entire frame, like bring in the bed rails, adjust the pin and bracket, tighten or loosen the straps... There is quite a bit of adjustment and a little goes a long ways.

I feel like an idiot. After a few cuss words and adult beverages, I realized all I had to do the unvelcro the back window and slide it over towards the driver side a bit more. The fit is so much better now. I can finally put up my old Bestop for sale

Lol. So many emotions were running through my head not even thinking to move the window. I was even thinking my bedsides were bent.

Quick update. Went outside to grab something from the bed of my truck, I love this Softopper. Lol. Accessing the bed is a lot easier for me than when I had the Bestop and now that I have everything set up properly I'm loving the way this thing looks

Finally joined the softopper gang! Based on other nice builds on here, I went with Black on the Pyrite Mica

You all both get a thumbs up from me!

Just wait until random peeps approach you to ask about the ST. You'll realize how great looking they are.

Haha so this is normal to happen. Not that i have a bunch of mods. But I've never had so many questions/compliments on any other mod on any of the vehicles I've owned.

Just got one used. I'm super excited and even the CFO was ok with the $120 for the topper. She even approved the upsale of the bed mat at $50.0224191207_HDR.jpg

Maybe. I think the ad was for 3rd gen spare parts. I accidentally clicked it and saw the picture he had of this topper on his 3rd gen. It was a little short on his truck. He still has a ecgs puller and some other stuff.

Looks great! Also looks taller than mine. Mine sits slightly below the cab. Yours looks like it sits above.
