I secured it with zip tie. Gorilla tape was applied to prevent it from ripping off when I tightened it.
I can even fold the softopper if I load my bike with no issues. The insulation folds with the topper canvas.

Is it removable? How's it look when you fold the topper?

Removable like you cut the zip ties . Why would I do that lol. It’s staying there to reduce heat . We camp more often now . When it gets hot, I open the side not facing the sun . The insulation folds as one together with the canvas .

Any particular place cheaper/or better deals for softopper? New to the Tacoma and not familiar with the websites and parts distributors.

There are not any deals on the soft topper. The only place to get them is through Soft topper themselves.

Like many, I searched a long time for a used one. Non could be found closer than 500 miles. I gave up the hunt and ordered a new one.

$750ish for a Soft Topper, $2500 or so for a color matched rigid cap. It was easy math after thinking about it. And the Soft Toppers sell so fast if you don't want it.

Used is the only way that I know of to get a softopper cheaper than list price. I found one on craigslist after many months of searching.

Do you have any other pictures? Possibly from the side?

Did you ever think about going grey?

    Hi Guys,

About month ago, I scored a Softopper in great condition for $200 bucks! Dude didn't even know what he had. No rips or tears, only thing wrong with it was that the back vinyl panel is foggy. 59515458_281570752788096_40663573537488896_n.jpg

If you're considering bestop. There's a 10% coupon code. JESSERIZOBESTOP.

However I dont blame you if you're looking exclusively at softopper.

Score of the year right there, and the less common tan color. Luck out!

Bed Mat and Go Pro. Toyota made it so good, doesn't need much mods. Don't like getting her dirty!!
I would like to see more pics. I also have magnetic grey metallic, but I’m a SR5. Still on fence for black vs grey. Any particular reason you chose grey softopper?
