Superduty will carry more weight per tray and total. 275 pounds super duty versus 200 pounds heavy duty.

This way if you go e bikes or some heavy backcountry overland bike or baby carrying bike in the future you don't have to re-buy.

Ima buy once cry once kinda guy. The extra $40 doesn't matter to me in the grand scheme of things when I'm dropping $600+ anyways.

Softopper arrived today, gave up hopes and dreams at finding a killer deal on a used one in great condition. Went ahead and ordered one. Rough fit for now, all done for tonight. I’ll fine tune and make it pretty in the morning.

How did you wire it? Is it on a quick disconnect if you wanted to fold the topper or remove it!?

Anyone with the mobtown over softopper rack have any in depth details on the thing ? I’d like to know if it is just the side supports or comes with an actual top rack. I have come up short in forum, google, and contacting mob town themselves.

After watching craigslist for years, finally just ordered one new. Love it. Have to do some more adjusting to get rid of the crease. Tried loosening and tightening straps with no luck. Wonder if bars need to move outwards a bit?

It is possible to raise the whole top, there are three holes in the center pivot. You might could try raising it up and that would tighten everything. Also, maybe tighten back straps, then tighten front straps.

These things have a ton of adjustability just by changing the order of doing things and a little goes a long way.

I haven't had the loose crease yall have, but just some things to try!

    Reserected from the dead.
I still have the crease. It goes away when driving because the topper sucks in from the vacuum. I don't mind it.

I'll tell you what if you have OCD do not buy a softopper. In no way is this a dig at softopper the brand or the product. I think my softopper is the best/useful mod I've done. But if you want the softopper to fit and look like a hard shell, good luck!! I find myself finding something that can (not needs) be adjusted. But I think ive finally settled on a fitment that I think looks perfect. With that being said, i would still reccomend softopper over any other soft top, hard top, or tonneau cover.

Nah, I'm not that OCD. I'm good with it not being super taut everywhere. Pretty used to that driving Jeeps for so many years. Actually the 80MPH drive in this morning blasted out all the "install" creases anyway. Looks much better now. :D

Yeah I've noticed too the heat tends to fix a lot of the unwanted creases. But hey man either way, looks great!

Looks like Bestop has updated the Supertop for trucks. Anybody picked up one of the new ones?
