My job decided I'm wfh permanently so, I'm selling the truck. I was going to build it out as a camping truck but, now I have a toddler and an infant so that's not happening any time soon. Might as well get while the getting's good. I'll get another taco in the future.

Good call. I didn't get my Taco until my little guy was 6 and camping is now more of a possibility. Hope your sale works out.

can I ask you a barrage of questions

-how did you trim your fenders? 1"? Just measure, draw, cut, then put edge liner trim? Or is there more to it?
-for the rear bumper, on the arch liners, did you trim them flat higher up to match the bumper line? What did you do with the old bracket that hangs down?
-did you make a rear bedside support bracket?
-do you happen to know the dimensions on those tires and Methods?

I did 2” out of the fenders and 3” out of the body. Measured drew cut and threw some of the trail toys edge trim on.

I trimmed them above the line where warfab recommended cutting. I got rid of the rear fender brace and moved the front one. I have those little jdm quick release bumper brackets on the inside of the bumper and on the sheet metal.

I do not have a bedside support bracket other than the bumper clips.

The methods are 16x8 with 35” milestar patagonias.

Does anybody with the boot know how to get this thing to fit when taken down? I swear I did it once and it’s been a pain ever since.

Pull the whole thing up to the middle, put the cover on and fold forward. Works every time.

People who are insulating with reflectix... How are you getting it to stay put? Tape gets hot and false off. Don't wanna use anything SUPER permanent

I put it between the cover and rails for the top. Didn't put any on the sides

I did that and it sags on both ends. Going to make a better fitted piece. I'm going to do the sides too.

Anybody ever pressure wash their topper? I take mine off and give it a good scrub about twice a year with convertible top cleaner but it needs a good deeeeeep clean.

My Softopper has been living in FedEx limbo since 11/1.

Every morning, it leaves the facility to be delivered by "end of day," only to be taken back to the warehouse at the end of the day. I've been in contact with customer service in an attempt to have it held for pick-up, but no luck so far. Apparently, they keep trying to deliver it to an address that doesn't exist. I double checked my order and the address I input is correct. Softopper also claim that the correct address was printed on the label, yet FedEx keeps referring to an address that doesn't exist. It makes no sense.

I've spoken with an agent and tried to get the address issue cleared up, but apparently no one at the facility checks notes or whatever instructions that are provided. After so many attempts, you'd think they'd give up and return to sender, but nope, they keep trying to deliver it to a non-existing address. What's happening at FedEx is insanity.

    TL;DR - Avoid FedEx.

I have a cargo net on the ceiling of my topper. The reflectix is between the frame and the topper and the net keeps it from sagging. I have walls cut to size rolled up. Slide them into place between the frame and topper as needed.
