Thanks to this thread on the rivet idea for the tail gate. In Texas heat that adhesive turned to goo. Only concern I have is I can not seem to get the clamps to stay straight when tightening them down. Seems like they are not staying in the grove on the bed rail. Any ideas?

My bars do not look like that. The hooks go inside the rail via cut outs in the rail. But my rails are further away than that maybe moving them closer will help. Ill give it a try after work tomorrow .

Well, I couldn't be happier with this top. Took a trip this weekend with the dogs and due to weather changes had the opportunity to see just how easy it is to reconfigure… Started out with the sides and back up and when we encountered rain it took no time to drop the sides and button-up. I was concerned how the top would act at highway speeds with the sides up but if it moved at all I didn't notice.

With all the interest shown by truck owners who saw the top over the weekend I understand why they have the website prominent on the side…

Here is my 2006 with topper and custom rack and rtt. Love the soft topper! great to drive with it rolled up on summer days. I was surprised at how well made it was.

I can't remember if I've asked this before, but with the softtopper, you have to have the toyota factory under the bed rail tracks with cleats to install the softtopper? Whoever had my truck before took them out for some unknown reason. I probably need to stop by the Toyota dealership and see how much the three rails are and some cleats.

I'm selling my Best Top. I just got it in March 2014 and only had it on my truck twice. I just traded my Tacoma in on Wednesday and it will not fit my new truck so I'm selling it for $400.00 cash but you would have to pick it up or figure out shipping. I still have the original box it was shipped in. It will fit a Tacoma long bed. I'm in Dallas, GA..... Jimmy (GA BOY)

Damn. Nice setup. I wish I could justify an RTT here.
