It's great hearing about everyone's experiences with SoftTopper. I am itching to get one soon but I'm still discerning...

Question 1: does anyone have a pic of a sky silver Taco with a tan ST? Trying to picure it on a 3rd gen. I am leaning toward tan (I like the look), I just don't know how it'll pair with sky silver.

Question 2: thought I read this somewhere but does the ST have any issues with being flush with the roof of the 3rd gen cab?

Unfortunately I can't answer the first question, however I can answer the second!

The 3'd gen softopper starts right where the curve of the roof finishes. Maybe 1" or so down From actual cab height.

I would also like to see this color combo because I'm considering it. I love the military look of the tan. You can play with the color simulator on Softopper's site but those colors are never really accurate.

Ultimately, I don't think tan would look "right" on silver. I think, especially with black accents on the truck, black is going to be the way to go. Additionally, I plan on getting 3 windows with mine; the standard window, the vent window, and the fabric coverall window, all of which will be black, making for easier resale if I don't want one or two of them after I use them. I think tan or gray would have a harder time selling. For that matter, if I don't love the Softopper, I think black would be an easier resell.

My soft topper sits flush with my roof line on my dcsb.

When I was at soft topper they didn't have Lead times...they had shelves of inventory ready to go immediately. Guy I asked said they almost always are ready to ship within a day or two frof purchase.

So do I! :). Seems like everyone goes with black with silver, but I've always liked the look of tan. Gave it a try and basically think it's a perfect match!

Do you have a closer / better picture? Maybe with sides down? I didn't realize until just now that your topper is tan. I thought it was black, in bright sun.

Here ya go. Tan ST was one of the first things that I bought for the truck since I haul my dog around. Then came HC rear bumper, sliders, and then Hybrid Pelfrey front bumper. Never had any doubts of this color combination.

Its just two led light strips with adhesive backing that I stuck to the frame. I wired a switch and mounted it by the power outlet. I just got 2 wire switch meant for a 7/8" motorcycle handle bar that I'm going to mount on the Softopper frame.
