    I'm not sure. It was huge though. That leaf is at least 4 inches across and that is pretty big dead crawdad next to it.

    That sounds like it could be it. We spooked him as we came down to the shore of a creek and he jumped out and darted across the water and stopped right where I took the picture.

    Black Widow. I'v got hand sized wolf spiders out in the pump house.
