My '02 only has 40K mi now. I'm thinking I should wrap her up and put her away for a few years.

Starting to sound like a decent investment :p

"bought the truck to haul things in, but found out the lift made it hard to load and unload packages"

no fucking shit you dumbass...what did you expect from an 8 inch lift, and 35s?

I was reading the whole ad, supercharger, supercharger upgrade kit, performance mod, performance mod..blah blah..lifted a foot..bumpers..winches...

is this even legal in CA? I've only ever heard how crazy strict and socialist CA acts, so I'm surprised you can drive around like that. I guess a heavy, lifted truck doesn't affect emissions while standing still..

First gens hold value better than benzes.... especially double cabs - took
me a while to take it all in when I was looking for mine.... that GW dude is sitting on a goldmine....

Likely because they are the last small truck avl in america, and arguably the best built. Everything is midsize + after our generation....

    I have a 1998 Pre-Runner extended cab that has 53,000 miles .
I bought from the original owner about 2 years ago .
Gave $9,800 at that time for it. It had 39,000 miles at that time.

Yes they will and did :D

I probably paid about $2k too much but I didn't care.
I was coming out of a potentially uber high maintenance nightmare of a car (03 Audi RS6) into an 03 Tacoma DCSB 4x4 that was lifted, bumpered, ARB locker, snorkeled, etc. I needed to purchase a spare tire/rim, a hi lift jack, and skid plates.

I am happy with it and it is my money.
