Im curious what people KEEP in their trucks that are not vehicle recovery, tools, or actually related to trucks at all. But the other things that live in your trucks at all times!!

    Ill go first...

Sorry for the bad pics... Cheap phone and it being dark doesnt help...

First, start with essentials. Knives and light. Im a knife guy, but even if your not, a good blade should be in EVERY truck if you ask me. All these live in my truck...

Swamp Rat Chopweiler, Ka-bar globetrotter, Ka-bar BK11 (bottle opener on rear of handle), Daizee birudashi (beer dashi, bottle oepner on handle), Leatherman, Ka-bar spork with built in knife, And fenix PD35 flashlight.

All this fits in the center console except the 2 larger knives. The largest goes under my seat, the 2nd to largest goes by the parking break. Always.

Next survival gear, Sawyer mini water filter. I have used this in rivers, creeks, lakes, swamps and all and im still alive. Never got sick using one. I have used the lifestraw many times before getting the sawyer and I will never go back to a lifestraw....

Portable fishing pole in hard case, hooks and sinkers, firesteel firestarter, and a mini survival kit that includes a few things that may help in an emergency SHTF situation... All this fits in a small backpack with hydration bladder behind the rear seat... Not pictured is a roll of toilet paper thats also in the pack.

Last... I do a LOT outdoors, from fishing/bowfishing, camping, hiking, to just exploring, so i keep bug spray, sunblock, paper towels and a small trash can in the truck all the time as well.

The bug spray, sunblock, and paper towels fit in the driver side rear door cup holders, all 3 fit no problem. The trash can goes on the floor in the rear right behind the center console.

This is great for when one of the kids get sick... I know from experience how much it sucks to clean throw up off a brand new trucks interior LOL

Your turn, Lets see some of the things you guys keep in your trucks!!!

Probably falls into recovery but not really since I don't do that steep of stuff...
Winter time I carry a tote box of chains, blanket, snow shovel, bag o sand, some food...
Summertime my backpack gear is always at hand for who knows what. I also carry my SAR bag at all times because... SAR...

Other than that, flashlight, blade, hand sanitizer, tire gauge, a couple dozen maps, camp chair, a soft side cooler bag (lunch size), small tool kit, leather gloves. I'm sure there's more...

Pop-n-lock tailgate. New radio knobs. Rear step.
I like the addition of the private property sign...that's planning ahead! Wait a minute, darn near every dirt road in Texas is posted as private property...
