Here's my dilemma I’m looking at getting the fuel D564 beast wheels for my 2014 double cab
I want the 17 inch version it comes with a -12 mm offset or +1 which one should I get? I will be mounting 285/70/17 ridge grapplers on them With Bilsteins @2.5 in the front and a 1.5 progressive leaf in the back. Which set would give me the least chance of rubbing . Not a big fan of too much Poke though

Offset? Tire size? Suspension? Wheel size? I’m looking at going with a fuel rebel bronze in the -12mm variety wrapped in 265 70 17 Toyo open country AT3s. I’m looking to stick with my stock suspension.

    SCS F5 16x8 -25mm offset 18ish lbs
    265/75/16 Falken wildpeak atw3 116t 44ish lbs
Bone stock 2020 SR suspension. Had minor scrub radius rubbing at full lock in reverse on inner fender plastic near the cab mount and near the front bumper (worse on driver side due to me being in the cab). Heat gun and some massaging took care of that.
    37 psi in the front
    35 psi in the rear
I average about 22mpg sometimes more sometimes less. Seems to be worse in cold weather and better in warm. If your concerned about keeping mpg then rotational weight is something to consider. If your looking for performance off pavement, well mpg isn't really a factor.

Drives really nice and tracks straight. Poke is nice but not obnoxious (at least for me). I'm flareless so it looks pretty aggressive. I had to put some small THIN mud flaps on to keep my paint intact (had to modify the fronts quite a bit to keep em out of the way of the tires while turned. If I had flares I would have probably been ok. My son has 16x8 -12 with the same tires and his peek out just beyond the flares by half an inch.

    A '14 17" wheels have 5.5" of backspace.

If he's looking at the 17x9, +1 offset, it will be 5" backspace. The 285s will cancel the additional 1/2" of backspace clearance. So, with a lift he might have a problem with UCAs.

Anyone know if a -6mm or -12mm offset will rub on a stock SR suspension with 265/75/16 KO2’s?

My son has -12mm offset SCS Ray 10s (16×8) --- wheel width matters.... he has a stock SR SX package v6. No rubbing of any kind. I'd imagine -6mm offset would be even less likely to rub.

What size tires? I'm looking at the RRW7-H in -12 offset. I'm looking to have the 1" poke" like your rig. The tire size I was looking at is 265/7/R17. I don't want to cut or get a CMC/lift. Stock 2021 TRD Pro.

So do think with the 17x8.5 -12 RRW7-H will stick out a little more?

It’ll most likely stick out the same amount

It will stick out 1/4 of an inch more if you have the same size tires and the camber is the same on both trucks.

I’m debating In scs 17x9 with 10 or -38 offset. I like the aggressive stance! I have bilsteins 5100 3 inch lift with 285/70 w stock UCA and sport rims. I know I’ll need a CMC but how much trimming will I need? Anyone else has done it? And will I jeopardize my suspension $$$
