Not sure on the OE wheel offset but yes the width of a wheel make a big difference. since the offset is measured from the center of wheel.. ex 17x9 -12 vs 17x9.5 -18 the offset is only pushing the wheel out by an additional 6mm but being that the wheel is 1/2 an inch wider you have to add an extra 1/4 of an inch on both sides of center so that would translate to roughly 1/2 an inch further out from the fender

Stock wheels on my 2011 are 16x7” with +30 mm offset. I have 265/70 on now with no issues. Thinking of putting on 16x8 SCS Wheels with -12mm offset. That puts the outside of the same size tire 2” farther out than it currently is. I am planning a 2” leveling shim on front shocks with no other suspension mods. The 2” change of the tire position may be an issue. I was trying to find anyone who may have done the same thing.

I got some Level 8 MK6 with -10. After I did, I noticed the passenger rear wheel/tire sticking out about an inch+ further than the driver's side. I went in for my 10k service, and the service Manager told me all Tundras and Tacomas do that. The rear axle is engineered to be off center to the right for traction purposes under a load and due to the left to right grading of most roads. As I waited for service, I looked on the lot....sure enough, all the trucks were that way. Just hard to notice until you get wheels that stick out.

I would still check to see if your bed is misaligned.. I also noticed the same thing and was aware of axles being slightly off center on other trucks not sure on tacos so I didn't really pay much attention about 6 months to a year later I was waxing my truck and noticed that my bed was also about an inch shifted to the driver side. its pretty common on Tacoma's. I work at a tire shop and have started looking out for misaligned beds I've told customer on a few trucks already Id say most I see are good but in my small world I've spotted a few. might be worth checking

I was gonna say, that screams Hawaii to me more than Texas. If it had spikes on the lugs, or some weird blender center cap, then I'd believe it was a Texas look.

Edit: Not to mention it's for sale in Honolulu, Hawaii.

i love the 808 style, but i hate the stupid Texas, Florida, North Carolina crap so much. looks like shit, 808 theres a reason they have their trucks like that. and they are extremely clean, not a clapped out 93 Chevy 1500 on 5 cylinders riding on 2 leafs in the rear and triple spacers in the front with bald tires and fake wheels. dont forget the yee yee, salt life and yeti stickers. can you tell how much i hate them?
