yea true i understand. It all about comfort for me.....every vehicle i'ce owned has had a middle console......and i rest my arm on it while driving. Not having a colsole would have driven me crazy

Hey hashemg, did your rig come from the factory with the buckets? I'm about to buy a white regular cab with a bench, and yours is the first reg i'v seen with buckets. We didnt get any regular cabs up here in Canada, so im looking at an 07 that was brought up from Seattle. Great lookin truck BTW!

You didn’t ask me but I have the answer: 05-08 regular cabs with the SR5 package came with bucket seats. That feature has ended with the 09’s.

^^^ It would probably be pretty easy. The hard part would be finding the parts.

Are the '09 regular cab bench seat backs open? I mean where you can see the metal springs of the seat and bungi tons of stuff inside it attached to the springs? On my '91, I had:
    Coiled snatch strap
    Coiled jumper cables
    Coiled Chuffer
    Tubeless tire repair kit
    Bow saw
    Machete
    Hatchet
    Folding shovel
and probably some other things I've forgotten
all bungied inside the seat back.
It didn't effect the comfort of the seat.

as far as i know, the 08 and 09s have a velcro backing that can come off if needed. i havenot looked to see if you could bungee anything inside of the seat, but i imagine it could be possible on the 09s as well as the 08s
