No those are 265/75/16. I've got an extra set of those wheels that I plan to paint a light gunmetal when I get over being lazy.

Nice those look great for 265s. Makes me want to paint a set of steelies and throw em back on my truck. I ran steelies for a while and then went to 17s.

 

They ride much better IMO.

 

Yeah see so many folks have said that on here, I have a feeling my guy installed them pre-loaded, or not pre-loaded I don't know which. I'm on 4 ply highway tires which it looks like you are, too. Don't believe they're the issue

 

I've physic myself into not liking them because they weigh like 29 pounds if I remember correctly. I'd really like to get some of the SCS F5s at 19 pounds each. I've got myself thinking the 4 banger would be happier with them. I just don't think I can get $800 past the CFO.

Yeah they are definitely a performance killer for the 4cylinder. Better to ask for forgiveness than permission no?

My little regcab got some upgrades. Super pleased — OME 887 coils w/soft ride shocks, heavy duty Dakar leaf springs, & LCE Header.

 

Where did you get those headers from Plucky?

 

I got the Header from LCE’s Amazon store. I was going to get it from their website until I discovered that it’d actually be easier for me to just use Amazon since I’m already a Prime member. The intital cost on Amazon was a little more than on their own website, but the shipping cost from each was different, and in the end it worked out about the same. Wow. I was thinking about going doug thorley but damn those look good! Well made also. Im sure it rumbles now.

 

Haha, it rumbles from about 2,200 rpm to roughly 2,800 rpm, then the engine noise drowns it out. 70 mph on the highway heavy on the gas it sounds pretty good.

 

Got my bed done in LineX Premium and my bedrack on. Hopefully tomorrow I can find the time to get the tent on. Hopefully 265/75s are in the future.

 

What lift kit do you have ? 16s or 17s ?
