It is a window, from McMaster Carr part #3792N111 I also installed a larger one between the cab with an added pass-thru. Ill be able to pipe heat in from the cab in the winter.

I was originally going to go with an RSI but waffled for a while. Saw an Alu-Cab in the wild a couple of weeks ago and really liked what I saw. It also comes out cheaper in Canada at least.

Now I see today Alu-Cab is releasing a new canopy and it looks awesome: https://youtu.be/dBbIP9xo_Bo

Glad I delayed. This looks to be what I'll get.

I haven't seen any images of the contour with the 6' option. I am wondering if they kept the same short side doors with a filler plate on the rear, or if they made longer doors, or added filler smaller plates front and rear? The big filler plate at the rear is one detail of the explorer that I do not love for long boxes.

Goose Gear came in, some molle around the camper, and hot water... (sorry for those that saw this in the *what have you done today*, but I did skip the non-alu-cab updates in this thread, roof rack/alu-boxes/maxtrax/gpfactor maxtrax mount).

Curious, did Juniper sell you that water heater as a kit (heater + case) etc.?

They did (not even as a kit, they sell the box built just like that). I think it's the first one they've sold outside of the person that designed it (I was working on a solution, talked to Josh over there, he mentioned they were wrapping this up if I was interested, so I decided to give it a go). The only thing really missing from it (obviously you have to hook up water/propane to it) is a water pump (but I already had one in my truck).
