Recently built and installed this bike rack. Picked up the bike hangers from Loloracks.com. I cant believe more bike carriers arent built this way. This is the best bike rack i have ever used. Simple, stable, trustworthy. Lolo allows you to buy just the parts you need and not the entire rack system which save tons of $$.

Has anyone seen or know of a fold out, bolt on step, that can be attached to the rail system on the side? Something that can be used to get up to load the roof? It’s kind of a long way up and I’m 6’3”. I thought I saw one somewhere but can’t remember now. Thanks.

Has anyone tried to instal the table bracket after the canopy has been installed? Is this possible? The place I bought my canopy camper from said it was and now they are saying the camper needs to come off… at my expense

edit. as I just saw this was for a Camper not just the Canopy. Yeah you are going to be either pulling it off or at least lifting it quite a ways off the vehicle.

Without digging through your history here to know the answer (which I probably can deduce, but don't feel like I should have to), do you have a CANOPY or a CANOPY CAMPER. I would have to look at my CANOPY CAMPER to see, but I can imagine it would be difficult given the clearance between the roof of the truck and the overhang where the table is mounted. If you have a CANOPY, it seems much more reasonable to do it while it's on the truck (depending on the interior build out).

I would say it’s possible but definitely need someone skinny and with the proper low profile right angle tools. And patience. Lots of patience

I do remember our local dealer saying I had order it with the camper due to the way it is installed, but that has been awhile. We didn't go with it, and based on the rattling issues some have said they had, I am glad we didn't as I have enough general truck rattling noises already....lol.

Another option (to avoid the labor of taking off the camper) might be the roof tray one. I think you can do it using the tallest load bar feet but you would probably have to be sure of that.

Good info on the table install. I want to add it to my CC, but there is no way I am lifting the camper up and off of my truck now.

I'll look into the roof top mounting variation.

The truck has been out and about getting used every weekend for a while now.

This thing is simply amazing. Still very content with my purchase.

Thanks for the reply’s! I think I’m going to attach the tray mount to the underside of the load bars. I think it should work with a little improvisement on attaching it.
