I'm still stock gears for the next three months, and no tune, just ECT all the time.

    Truck is very heavy.

Short trips around town is 12 or so. Longer trips through town, at ~45 mph, is 17.9 or so.

The average of up 8000 ft in elevation and then back down on the same freeway, at 63 mph, is 16.8 mpg.

Over 80 mph is 9.8 mpg.

I drive like a grandpa though.

Got my Maxtrax installed finally. I welded up a bracket with 1/2” stainless and wing nuts. I have to use a cable lock but it works well. Easy on and off.

Talked to Alucab and my close distributor regarding the 6' contours. Sounds like early 2023. I'm getting close to reserving one. A new video on Instagram on them.

Anyone have any insight on how much room there is between the interior roof panel and exterior? I wanna mount a sirocco fan up there and was hoping to run the wires with the factory light that’s up there to keep it clean but don’t see any obvious ways to measure to avoid drilling right through everything

Twice now i have taken my tent for a ride. Wasn't far, perhaps 50yards tops. LOL I need to leave something on the driver seat to remind me, "tops up dummy".

Unless you've already removed it, the rearview mirror is just sitting there doing nothing now- why not make a hangtag for it? That way you can store it discreetly in your console when not needed. Just make sure it's obnoxious enough to grab your attention when pulling out of camp!

I had a similar concern when my topper was installed, but specifically I was worried about driving into my garage even with the topper closed. I eventually moved into an apartment without a garage so it's no longer an issue(I still won't go into parking garages, however).

I added my Dockinson P9000 into my ACCC on Monday.

    It looks beautiful.

My question for you all; do you think it is worthwhile/necessary to install a Co2 monitor in the camper?

    Thanks

    C02. No. ;)

C0. Yes. I always have one in my campers. Cheap insurance.

New SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for whenever the top is deployed as a reminder before driving off. Potential problem solved.

I am recycling this small spray bottle to use for cleaning liquid (simple green etc) to keep for quick cleanups in the camper. Nice and small and stores easily.

If anyone needs bike storage with an ACCC, this is what I came up with.

Kuat Pivot 2 (good for (4) bikes) and the Kuat NV 2.0

Clears the spare tire when empty and raised. Bikes clear the spare tire when loaded. When swung open (both 90 and 120 degrees) the rear door can be fully opened as well. The Pivot leaves a nice small step when it is swung open as well.

The kitchen setup, like my electrical system and water system, are all custom made by me.

Check out my build thread, as I describe how I made and mounted everything, if you want to know more.
