Yes, they are the Alucab low-profile feet. Worked great this past season, my only complaint is they didn't come painted. Easy fix though.
Oh ok, didn't realize it wasn't a 270. It's a must IMO with a 270. Some of gusty Beach days I watched my load bars flexing. A buddy has a steel plate bolted to his load bar to minimize his flex with the awning and his fiberglass top.

    Thank you again!
Swapped my load bar feet hardware out - these are much more solid and engage the rail fully. Only down side is if you want to add additional hardware you need to start them at the beginning of the tracks and can't just drop in through the cut outs.

Would definitely recommend these Leitner bolts. Well see how they hold up to corrosion after a few beach trips.

Yeah that’s the trade off, not being able
To add though the hole . But I figured I’d rather have super solid connection

Anyone know if you can replace the main weatherstripping on the bottom of a contour canopy where it sits on the truck bed?

My canopy either wasn't spaced right or the tailgate needed adjusting, and eventually rubbed/ripped through the weatherstripping. It's been a while so I doubt it's covered under warranty.

on a somewhat related note, does anyone have a part number or something for the weather stripping that goes on the side of the rear window on a contour? mine got ripped somehow. it looks like it just gets pressed onto the vertical tab to sit on there.

Mine is torn there as well. Feel on your window side where it presses in, mine has a rough piece of aluminum exposed that gradually tears it over time.

Looks like there is a little metal tab on the rear window that is bent
    upload_2024-4-3_13-35-9.png

I'll give straightening it out a shot. its not a huge deal either way for me

yup same spot as mine, I flipped the seal 180 and ground the metal down.

I just inquired on a few issues to AVO, will respond back if anyone reaches out.

Same thing here! I’ll check out the sharp edges and hopefully sourcing new weather strip won’t be too difficult

For those with the vertical weatherstripping that has been cut/torn from left over flashing/sharp edges, Alu Cab will replace it. They are also going to replace my rear window struts.

I reached out to the contact us page on the Alu Cab site, and I received a reply from jonvw@ok4wd.com in the US. Just need a serial number, and some pics of the damage.

He attached this picture from trim purposes.

Finally put some miles on the topper. Road tripped to Fernie Canada from Washougal wa and then back into Montana . Lots of side roads and exploring with my kids . Been a blast. So far it’s been fantastic. Still have the front corner leaks a bit so will work on sealing those up a bit better. But nothing but smooth sailing so far. Loaded it up with tons tools and trip gear (helping my brother in law with small house project.
    Good times !

mine did that too, I tapped that part very lightly with a rubber mallet to give the door some clearance and it worked perfectly. now I guess I should replace the weather stripping somehow

I’m heading to NJ next week to pick up my Contour w/ windows. I’m getting it from OK4WD and they quoted me $675 for install. Not sure if I should have them install it or try and do it myself? Any recommendations would be helpful! Will share picks when I get it on the truck

that's where i'd likely purchase from. but $600+ just seems silly.

Seems pricey for an install . But depends on if you have all the stuff to do it right. Many people (myself including) pop the bed top rails off and foil line and then sika flex it. Also making sure you do the butyl tape or sika flex on the front two corners of the bulk head . It depends if it’s worth the cost to you. They will be able to level and shim it for you so that’s nice.

I'm also going to order mine from that same OK4WD in a few weeks - how long did you wait from order placed to ready for pickup? I'm just going to strap it on the bed and install at home

What are some of the prices you all payed for a contour no windows - coming out to about 4k with taxes local pickup without install

Thanks for all the advice, it definitely would be nice to have them seal it all up and level. I previously had a Leer cap so all the wiring is already complete other than changing the adapter to what Alu-Cab requires.
