Honestly OK4WD was so easy to work with and I ordered mine on 3/6/24 and they called me today 4/10/24 saying it was ready for pickup. And that’s for the Contour w/ windows.

I’m also thinking of trying the same thing, strapping it in my bed and installing when I get home. Unless I would have the time to install in their parking lot before driving home.

My Contour Canopy is supposed to arrive in early April. By my estimates there are only 3-4 more days left in early April. :frusty:

What did you use to mount the traction boards? Exactly the setup I'm looking for.

    Oh such a legit idea.

Mine get me or the wife every ~20 times we use em. I've taken to doing a bit of a gentle slap against it while I have my other hand on the bar. 95% of the time it works.

Not OP, but I used these mounts from Sherpa and Maxtrax Pins to do something similar.

I would bore out the L track holes larger... easier to get a new piece of track than a new door for your canopy.

I have a double 1up rack and I put my bike in the furthest spot away from the truck. They would be close otherwise.

Switching bumpers soon and I'll need to get a long hitch extension, like 18", so there will be plenty of room after that LOL.

I hade some small flat steel plate , I can’t remember why they were from. Anyway, drilled holes so that ran Across two of the top slotted rails, (twice. One set towards cab and one little farther back) and then just mounted the traction board pins so it all lined up. Keeps them nice and out of the way

That’s a great idea. Curious what those plates are that are mounted to the rail!

the silver/metal plates that say aspen on them? im pretty sure those are mounts made specifically for the patagonia black hole duffel.

To those of you mounting your traction boards on the inside of your camper/cap, what is your plan after you have to use them and they are dirty af?

I couldn't figure that out, so I mounted mine on the exterior of the passenger side side door.
