Great setup. Might you share the source of that camlock fitting for your water tank?

is there an even amount of bed rail exposed on both sides and do you have stiffeners in?

I noticed on mine there is less bed rail visible near the tailgate than the cab. I'm wondering if its because i have bed stiffeners in to make the back a true 90 degrees or if the bed is actually supposed to be flared out a little.

Anyone have a good silicone adhesive they like to use that is semi-permanent but ultimately removeable without making a huge mess?

I have a few things mounted with 3m tape to the roof of my Alu Cab, but it's starting to get into the low 90's in Charlotte, and the 3m tape is failing.

The bed is flared a little. I think about 1" between bulkhead and tailgate. It's not huge but it is noticeable when everything else is square.

Planning...suspension, front slimline bumper, winch, full skids, 2" lift, SCS Ray 10's, Pizza cutters, Power Tray, Switch-Pro, Alu-Cab Contour Canopy.
I have bed stiffeners installed also (actually just did it before putting on the Alu-Cab) and it is slightly different from front to back but not terrible. I will try to take some pictures later and share so we can compare.

Anybody know of a way to adjust the gas struts on the alu cab canopy to stop at a particular position? I have an awning above the door and would like it to stop sooner if possible

i think its either replace the struts, or move it to one of the three holes on the doors.

Has anyone replaced the gas struts for the side doors on an explorer canopy? Wanting to get some shorter struts so the doors don't swing up as high into the tent/awning.

Good news for me, someone cancelled their order and I was able to pick up the Contour a week after placing the order
Bad news - install was a PITA... I used up all the shims just on 4 corners, don't even have enough to shim up the middle mounts
And the mounts closest to cab had to even be shimmed from the side because my bed and rail were too far in??? I have bed stiffeners and never carried probably more than 200lbs in the bed, not sure what happened - should I contact Alu Cab for more shims?
I followed their 2016 Contour install pdf, had to completely exclude the spacers for the bed rail because they wouldn't line up with the mounts attached to the cap itself, the hardware given wasn't the same as their install guide (no button head hex hole M8 or spring washers)

i didnt install mine myself, but think the corners near the cab have more shims than the ones by my tailgate. not sure if the company compressed the back more or what, but the shell looks closer to the bed back there.

so here’s what my corner mounts look like by the cab, I had to shim between the rail and mount to get the bolt to line up vertically, only for the front corners…

Had to go pickup some 5/16 fender washers to shim the middle mounts since I ran out of the provided shims, install pdf is from 2016 so wish they updated it the current parts they give

First things first, seal all the damn leaks! Bed seal leaks, rivets on the wall leaks, I’m swimming.

I have solar and a fridge already setup, just building a small 2020 frames cabinet to hold the battery and some gear.

I have a 8' ARB awning I just purchased. I wanted to be able to take it off and put it back on by myself. How hard is it to get on and off?

Taking it off, I was able to do it myself. Putting it back on was a little more difficult because of how the bolts slide into the load bar. Wasn’t terrible but I just couldn’t get it lined up alone.
