Want to give a quick update. While the 3-IN-ONE has helped thus far this morning I checked my latches and two were sticky and unable to open with a quick try. Truck is not my daily and it was 4 in the morning on my way to work so didn't put much effort into opening. We have had a few days of off and on rain that finally turned to snow yesterday afternoon and dropped to mid 20's overnight with wind chill in the teens. I believe the two latches that were sticky would have opened with some more effort because I could push the latch in but it just wouldn't release. I haven't applied the 3-IN-ONE in about a month and a half so I'm sure that contributed as well. Definitely not a permanent fix but still believe it has helped. If applying once a month or so will help that's what I will do until a permanent fix is found. Sounds like the jury is still out on the covers.

I sent an email to andrew.mowery@industrilas.com & rino@ok4wd.com asking for suggestions directly from the distributor and manufacturer. But I've received no response. I'm guessing this is the reason that outfitters like Adventure Ready are switching to RLD, etc. I really want to work with these folks and find a solution, but it's hard to do that when they don't respond! I'm going to create an RTV gadget on the back of the covers, and 3 in One the locks—that should work!

*edit, looks like the folks over at GFC (similar latch design, no cover) suggest using BOESHIELD T-9, worth a shot if 3-in-One isn't working for you.

Any one have a good solution for insulating the wall/doors/ windows.

I've seen a few different alucab set ups on youtube videos, but can't find specifics on insulation.

(Just ordered my Canopy camper, getting installed beginning of March)

As many as I can fabricate
I'm not sure about insulation (foam board) but you need this stove.

Oh bubby... You know I ordered that fire place lol The second I saw that was an option, it sold me on the CC. That's why I'm looking for insulation.

Unless someone has a better option, I may do foam board, then put a nice looking fabric over top of it

I insulated my side doors today using (2) 2019+ Dodge Ram Tailgate BedRugs. Wasn’t my idea, I’ve seen others do it.
I cut them to size and fixed them to the panels using 3M Velcro strips.
Going to do the rear door as well sometime.
If you’ve never seen bedrug material it is a super heavy duty rug over 1/4” or so foam.

I highly suggest a complete bed rug as well to insulate your floor/truck bed walls. You won’t regret it.
Also I might add the tailgate panels are the perfect thickness for the door panels. The tailgate panels are a little thinner material than the regular rug in the rest of the truck bed and isn’t grooved like this pic below.
The 2019+ Rams have the largest tailgates.

Also, check out the expedition portal thread.

Thanks for the advice, I'll look into that.
I see you're also from Ohio, who did your CC install?

That’s the best interior job I’ve seen on one of these. Well done.

Ammo Box Slide arrived. It does what it says it does, no tiedowns supplied, I am using some stratchits for now.

Excuse the dirty bed, hauled some firewood this weekend.

The latch covers seem to work well in the icepocalypse we are experiencing in Austin, TX now. Hadn't had to open the bed yesterday until I threw some shovels in the back before I made an ill advised adventure into the frozen tundra.

It's the Alu-Cab Ammo Box Slide sourced from OK4WD. It shipped recently so I assume they might have some more in stock.
    https://www.alu-cab.com/us/product/ammo-box-slide/

That being said, if you are handy someone fabbed one for their RLD:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/new-in-the-usa-rld-design.593043/page-21#post-25100748

Right now I just have one big strap going over all 4 boxes left to right and this pushes them together blocking all rear visibility. Once it warms up will figure out a way to lash to keep a gap in-between so I can see out the back a little.

This is serious #LifeGoals material right here. Question though - Why run the propane line inside? I thought I saw a video for the installation and the line was run outside. What changed? Followup question. Did you consider diesel at all? Most marine heaters come in a diesel variant and it would seem on the surface to be 'safer'.
