Couple more layers of urethane and some sanding, and I hope to have this dropped in by the weekend.

I’m under the driver seat as well, I prefer it in a hard-to-steal location and there’s a great factory ground right there.

In person, I thought it was a little rough. My first time working with ABS. I used a jigsaw to make the rough cuts, but you have to keep some pressure on it to move the blade along. Otherwise, friction will melt the ABS back together right behind the blade. I then used a dremel and sanding drum to knock the edges off and clean it up.

Recommend putting some bends into the rear legs to lift the back of the mount up and let your floor vent breathe. My amps and wiring are all connected with zip ties through 1/8” holes I drilled through the ABS, and the rear seat bolts secure the whole thing.

To get the shape, grab a sheet of cardboard and cut the shape you want, including the bends in the rear legs. Transfer to cardboard and cut.

Then to bend it, grab a heat gun. You’ll need to hold the bends to shape for a minute or so till the plastic cools, and heat it till it starts to drop before you bend it to get sharp, clean bends.

900/5 JL amp which sends 100x4w to JL C5-650s in the doors and 500w to the 2 10” JL W1v3 subs. It does the trick in my 08 taco

No it’s a JL Stealth Box and I’m not sure if you can still get them. They’re also pretty expensive but def has a factory type look to it. You have to cut up the plastic behind the seat but that’s pretty easy

Likely going to move my amp (and two crossovers which actually might not fit but I'm fairly sure I'm done messing with the crossovers so maybe those will go under passenger) to under the drivers seat on a 2015 access cab. The amp is 2 1/2" tall so it would be tight but it appears to works out okay for others even in hot summer months. Another thread ( https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/amplifier-locations-for-access-cabs.1805/#post-368765 ) advises that trucks with side curtain airbags to not put anything under the seat, not clear if that's just 2009's but I have side curtain air bags so is this something that should concern me?
