Upgraded my amp and a few other things recently. Used to have a JL HD 900/5 which is a great amp. Upgraded to a JL VX 1000/5i which has been fantastic! Pretty much used the same mounting as the old set up with a few new tweaksIMG_6032.jpg

I added some blue led lights to the amp and a door switch to turn them off when the seat is up

    IMG_6037.jpg

Bluetooth dongle to access amp settings. There are no physical dials or knobs to tune the amp. LAN cable to a computer or Bluetooth to a device running JL TuN app. Took me a while to figure the app out
    IMG_6031.jpg

JL DRC amp remote which I mounted in a factory switch cover. Inner dial is master volume, outer dial is sub volume

    IMG_6034.jpg

JL power distribution block running battery power to the amp, cap, and LEDs

    IMG_6033.jpg

One last thing to do is make some sort of cover to hide all the wires in the bottom of the amp.

    Thanks for looking!

Very nice! Can you provide link to the door switch you used?
