Thanks, I'm still trying to come up with a good looking tire with good wet traction from a stop. My Nitto Terra Grapplers were good in the rain from a start until they hit 30k. From then to now at 55+k I pretty much have to come off of a stop like a granny in any kind of wet roads. On the highway I haven't had any problems with wet traction.

Thanks, I'm really excited for this thing (haven't named it yet). I love to tinker with stuff, and this forum has given me enough ideas to give my wife a heart attack already....

when you removed the graphics, were there any "ghost" imprints on the paint? I've heard the surrounding uncovered paint tends to had from UV, and the newly exposed paint (under the graphics) tends to keep it's original color. Did this happen to you?

Hi vuTron - no, mine is a 2013 and I wondered if there could be such issues but it was perfect. no ghosts or anything. I really took my time and used a heat gun being careful not to overheat. it was easy to tell because the graphic gets too soft and snaps, too cold and it doesn't want to come off, a good "warm" loosens the adhesive but keeps the graphic together enough to be able to progress with the removal - moving the heat ahead of where you are removing. After removal of all the graphics I did a full detail starting with wash, then clay bar, then a nano polish, then rejex sealer. you can not tell it ever had graphics. Cool!

Like your grille! Which one is that and did you install the insert yourself? I've been considering this mod. Thanks!

Bought my first Tacoma Dec 2015. 2011 TRD Sport with 11k.
Only upgrades so far are Fuel Vapor wheels, tint, and a tonneau cover. Going to black out running boards, emblems, and lift/tires.

I sold the Tacoma for a 4Runner but it had 5100's set at .85 with Eibach 1.6" coils (2.5" lift total). Wheeler's 2" single aal in the rear.
