I post on this thread a lot but I love the Barcelona Red trucks! I spent a bit of time detailing the truck as I think I'll be putting it up for sale.

 

Upgrading to another taco, or what's the plan? Someone will get a very nice truck, this is one of my favorites in here. GLWS!

2009 TRD Sport, 4x4, 104,000 trouble free miles. Barcelona Red. Looks like new inside and out. It’s my hunting and fishing rig that gets me in and out of the back country.

I always had white cars… but Toyota didn’t offer white for the Xrunner so I picked my favorite color, red lol. At first I didn’t like the shade of red BRM is but I love it nowold pic

 

Since I picked up the 3R3 touch-up paint at the dealer yesterday, I discovered this thread! Dad and I love red trucks. They show up well in snow, too. This was the last truck Dad was going to order so he had his specs for the dealer. No joy in his locale, so he called on the dealer that I bought my '84 Longbed Deluxe from in 1984, and they found his truck, a 2009 Access cab 4wd 4 cyl. 5-spd manual with the topper set up for fishing. He asked me if I'd be willing to buy, and I replied, "When you're ready to sell it." I purchased it from the estate last July and brought it home after the remembrance ceremony for Mom and Dad with their friends and neighbors. I received a takeoff set of 16x7J alloy wheels, new TPMS sensors, and two dozen Toyota factory lug nuts this past week to remount the new set of Michelin Defender LTX 245/75R16s that replaced the original Dunlop tires. For Christmas, I'll install the RedLine Tuning hood strut QuickLIFT ELITE kit, since these trucks have grown bigger and heavier (including the hood) in the 25 years since my last Toyota truck was built. This is bigger than some Tundra trucks! Matt Gecko topper lights? ( I did replace the bottom front bumper fascia fasteners, which I noticed were no longer holding that to the frame when installing the new plates and holders.

Groundhog Day 2022 Winter Tire Swap (8 wheels/4 tires substituted for the 4 wheels/8 tires of invoice) aftermarket TPMS sensors programmed by eBay store for 2008-2012 Tacoma read into the system with two laps by 'Senior Mike' (Costco Tire has three Mikes, and every time I see Mike we visit. We agree that the tire and auto shop is is the best part of Costco.) Yesterday, I asked about the semi loading used tires, and Mike told me there were 500 old tires being loaded for recycling. Coeur d'Alene Costco Tire has been the busiest in the west coast area this year. June 28, 2022 above Bear Creek, Bitterroot NF to scatter a portion of Dad's and Mom's ashes, and celebrate completion of my 67th year on earth. NHOU frame treatment March 29, then additions from All Pro Off-Road at intervals, bed stiffeners, aluminum powder coated IFS front skid plate (equal weight with the removed stock steel plate and braces), and grey HDPE inner tailgate panel. Picked up a box of Hushmat sound deadening material and roller from Best Buy last evening to install in the doors, after a great dinner (I brought their dinner from KFC.) visit with two guys and a doc, who stops for a Friday visit on his way home, at LifeCare Cd'A. ***Added the AC drain extension mod after trips to central Oregon and the Olympic Peninsula last month, thanks to TW's forums.
