Hello all! I've lurked for several years now, and figured I'd finally sign up and post something. I feel like I'm cheating a bit as I used to have a Tacoma, but currently I go without. Anyway, I look forward to finally replying to some threads instead of just looking at them.

I say yes and go bigger for looks and off-road. I have 32" A/T and have regrets after doing some off-roading. I think the 33" will look better in a double cab long bed.

i'd say tread design is more important than size.

a 33" tire looks better with a lift because the gap between top of tire and body is reduced. you gain 1" of clearance going from a 31" to a 33"

a 31" MT will get you more places than a 33" AT.

I've only gotten stuck a couple of times. Twice when I absolutely buried my truck in a snowbank (lockers and 33"s probably woudn't have gotten me out) the other time was when i crawled into a mud hole with my worn ATs and had to have my buddy run back to his place, get his H2 and come pull me out.

I've done some mild wheelin with my MTs and I've yet to see something infront of me and think "maybe i should turn back here"

We'll find out at URE in a week and a half though!

Thanks for the input. My AT did alright in the trails I've been through. My regret is mostly for looks. DB LB will look better in brigger tires in my opinion, and I think that's what he was asking.
