I know this is an old thread but thought I'd add to it in fears of the "Search Engine Police"...so, here's my ride...

    Fly Pantera 2
Demo PA Bars & Medial cranks
    Odyssey Cielinski Pedals
No brakes or pegs (pegs will be added once I buy some hub guards)
Just threw on a KHE Astern freecoaster
Primo Balance back and Premium front rims
Maxxis Holy Roller front tire and primo wall rear tire...about to throw on the GLH on the front though because I hate dirt and don't plan on riding it anytime soon...
    Fly Ruben grips
    Odyssey MDS
Shadow seat (not sure what model)

i've got a 25 to 13 gear ratio, it makes for an odd chain length. so my pedals pedals already have slack. if i got a freecoaster with a 9 tooth drive wheel, i probly wouldn't notice a difference.....the only down side is that all the money i make goes towards my car :p

It took me about a day to get used to the slack (kept bashing my knees on the stem). I have very little slack on it. I would say the bike weighs maybe 19 pounds...I couldn't tell you to be honest. I used to ride a Fit Series One back in 2004 with some heavy ass parts so all I know is it's a shit ton lighter than that. I just got back into riding maybe a year and a half ago...stopped for a bit due to the Marine Corps.

Back to the freecoaster though, I love it...but I've always sucked at fakies which is why I got it and it's helped me out a lot. I don't think I'll go back to a cassette. If you're looking to buy, I'd wait a couple months. I hear the Shadow Conspriacy is supposed to be releasing a really nice one.

I ride an LHD. Dude, I'd stick with the Condor. Haro's are just too heavy and Specialized changes it's mind every month (like Giant bikes) if it wants to stay in BMX or not.

i ride a lot of street because there are no bike parks in tucson... except one thats like 45 minutes away on the other side of town.

but tucson does have a lot of concrete washes, so those are close to riding in a park.

Yeah. Eastern North Carolina has a lot of parks but they're built by some douche skater (can't remember his name) who lies to the townships and says the ramps can't support bikes. These ramps are made out of the same material (including steel frames) that motocrossers use for their kickers at freestyle shows. We petitioned for multiple parks to allow bikes...won in Cherry Point. I'm hearing they're having a meeting about allowing them in Jacksonville, NC so hopefully that passes by the time I get back from school.

Aside from that, the local area is flat as fuck and people have no idea what stairs or handrails are so it's almost impossible to ride street, but thats what I grew up riding so I usually end up hanging around dumpsters and making some odd little trannies, or hip to wallrides out of crates and pallets. But, drive about a half an hour plus in any direction and you have awesome street and awesome parks...and Greenville..."Protown USA."

littldvl, if you want to start a new thread go ahead...I'm notorious for pissing off the Search Engine Police...
