Anybody on here know much about Nirve bmx bikes. I have a Nirve bike sitting at my parents house that i was considering selling. Ive been searching the internet for the past hour with not much luck. Nirve still makes bike, but no longer makes bmx bikes. I think it is a Nirve Rail from the few pictures i could find. Just curious if anyone had an idea of how much it might be worth.

EDIT: I paid around $200 for it about 7-8 years ago.

My buddy had a Nirve Panic that was a beast. Weighed like 40 pounds no kidding. My other friend had a blue Nirve, forgot what it was, also a beast, though.

They're definitely better than Wal-Mart bikes, but still not close to top of the line.

I wouldn't expect much money out of it.

This was my Summer project my sophomore year of High School...and my daily driver through most of my High School years.

It's a GT Power Series 0.5 frame that I custom rattle canned with some paint pen graffiti touches from my buddy who was into tagging.

The rest of the components are pretty generic so I'll just post the frame the day I put the last clear coat on:

Probably the most artistic thing I have ever made in my life.

I use to race BMX back in the late 70's to the mid 80's. Within the last few years I've purchased a few bikes that bring back some great memories for me.

Anyone ever here of a Profile F/F, they don't just make cranks!

I have a '90s GT to help me get back into biking all around. I used to ride street/park, but am trying to get more into dirt/trail. I really like the sunday! bikes.

Yeah I have heard nothing but good things from the fundays. I just can't see myself spending the money on it and not putting it to the fullest potential, so as time progresses I will get one!

nice. if you guys are ever shopping for part, i recommend danscomp.com, I built my entire bike by ordering off their website.

i just put plastic pedals on my bike and i'm a few ounces off of 25lbs. if i shave some off the seat post and handle bars i can make it easy.

Dans isnt the best around, they have had some problems... Order from empire, albes, staff or even j&r, atleast they are rider owned companys and are knowledgeable with the stuff they sell....
