Bought new in 6/2023. Love the Electric lime color and she's been good to me so far. I was considering the new 2024 Off road, but happy I stuck with gen3 version given all the new model drama. Few additions since purchase; Steps, Tonneau, and hood deflector. Currently at 12k miles, replaced windshield, 1 tire and now front grill camera is out. All repairs based on road debris (PHX AZ is a non-stop road hazard).

I would leave it. Sits nice! What are the specs on your wheel/tire set up? Spacers?

17x9 -38 295/70r17 lift sits around 2" front and rear. If I'm unloaded the rear can get closer to 3"

    Winters are a 17x9 -25 285/70r17
Likely tossing them on in the next month the nights are starting to get cold
    20240203_153201.jpg

I was considering a 285/75r17 little narrower but a bit taller can do it and stay close or drop weight in some tires but given the trail use I don't think I'm going to drop from an E load. Havnt had an issue with a flat yet and I would like it to stay that way.
Side note it's crazy to see just how much the 112 leafs help with getting the rake back over the flattened 111's

@Discount Tire got the 285/70R17 Goodyear Wrangler Territory MTs installed today and I think they look great! Previously was running BFG KO2s, which served me incredibly well.

After tons of research and never truly coming to a singular "best" option, I opted to try a set of these Goodyears for a few primary reasons:
    1. These tires are ran on many OEM trucks, including the Ram TRX, Ford Bronco, Chevy Colorados / Silverados, so this gives me confidence in their engineering
    2. They are light as a feather. The 285/70R17s (C1 load rating) are 48 lbs. By comparison, my previous BFG KO2s (C1 load rating) were 52 lbs and I thought they were the lightest on the market. The new Falken AT4Ws in 285/70R17 (load rating C1) are 65.4 lbs!
      • Given how light these are, I was interested in how much they weighed in at for a 315/70R17. For a C2 load rating, they weigh in at 55lbs!! Absolutely incredible given a vast majority of 35s are weighing in at ~65 lbs, with 62lbs (KO2s) being the previously lightest I had found.
Let me know what you guys think of them. Based on my research, not too many TW guys are running these, so I'll be updating my build with longer term reviews as I get more miles on them.

Obnoxious? Those wheels look really sick. What make and model are they? Need to check you profile for the wheels mounted.

Just picked mine up recently! Love the truck, hate the automatic gear hunting. The Boost Sprint Controller has helped awaken the truck a bit. Coming from an 03 manual extended cab, which I still have. I'll basically copy + paste my old build with new parts on the new platform, stoked for what's to come!

I plan on it! But not until I put on my bumpers, sliders, suspension & new tires. Want to make sure it's tuned to drive great with the camper on and all the weight it'll eventually have :turtleride:
