It's all good, thanks! Never had a Tacoma, but been a Toyota fan now for many years and had so many other models.
Even got the Decker drawer system on this one!

I drove up this "chicken rock" spot up past Briggs Cabin with ease in my SCLB too. Didn't get a pic though because I didn't feel like I needed a spot and drove right up it. When do you want to do Snake Lake? I did it a couple years ago when I was on 265/75R16 (31.7")

Hey brotha! I was able to complete Backwards Bill rated 5/10 on the onxoffroad scale, fins and things 4/10 and the white rim 4-5/10 without any hiccups or even turning on a locker. Hit the engine/transmission skid very lightly maybe twice. Was glad I had sliders as well came in handy a few times on backwards bill some big boulders got pretty damn close.

Upgrading to 35s and getting the regear and a front locker would def open up a lot more trails for the dclb I’d imagine you’d prob be able to get up to 6 or 7/10s.

Hey brotha you make the jump to 35s? How much more would you say they open trial wise vs 33s if ya did?

I did everything in Death Valley on my 32’s perfect for me. Ride quality on road is also important to me. I came back down to 32’s perfect for my usage and don’t plan on going any bigger

I went up to 35s (Kenta Klever R/t 35x10.50R17) last year in August, but havent had a chance to hit any of the harder trails that I have previously ran to really see the difference in how much I touch my armor. Gas mileage went down about 1 mpg with the 35s and the 5.29 re-gear so now I am averaging 16.5-17 MPG on the highway at 65-70 MPH. Snake Lake was a struggle a couple years ago but it was raining when we did it and my friend lost an UCA nut and the UCA bolt backed out so that was an additional issue to deal with. I plan to go back this year and see how it compares on the larger tires.

I had a few cars and a 4Runner since my last DBLB Tacoma (2015 SR5), but I recently found a 23 DCLB Off Road, which was surprising since I couldn't really find any in Michigan at all. This thankfully came up at a local dealer with just 31k miles on it.

Nearly finished with the 3rd gen dclb build. May add front and rear armor down the road, but for my use haven’t needed them for what I like to do and where I go. Not a fan of intense rock crawling only on occasion.

Had some fun at Moonrocks NV for the annual post Memorial Day weekend cleanup event.
