I use a Hoyt Cybertec. It's a few years old, but it does the job.

It's the only pic I have of it.

Its quiet, really light, and shoots really smooth. Plus with my hunting arrows I still get 315 FPS. I love the weight of the bow, so light you hardly know that youve carried it all day. The DXT is lighter still, shoots a little smoother but doesnt shoot as fast. Both Really good bows.

I am about to buy a bow but haven't shot one in about 20yrs. I don't want to spend alot of $ and I found one a ebay for $300. It's suppose to be brand new in factory box and the seller has almost 10,000 transactions with a feedback score of 98 or something. Its a Fred Bear buckmaster w/some accesories. What do you guys think?

You need to pull it back to see if you can hold it back steadily. Does the drawlength fit? Theres a lot of variables in bow shootin... I would just go to a local shop and get one suited up for you. New or used.

bone stock save for the block lift that came on it with the open country m/t.
x2....shoot before you buy, don't make the mistake of buying something because the price is right...shoot many and often, you will be glad you did.

x3..i found alot of bows online that looked good..I wound up going to Cabelas, and they set the bow up for me, I just had to come home and sight it in.

They will let you take the bow into there shooting lane, and shoot some arrows throu it. They measure your draw length, and adjust the poundage right there for you also. When I purchased mine, I also bought some arrows there, and they cut them for free. The only suggestion I have, is to buy a bow with a lifetime warrenty. My Parker has it, and pretty much if anything happens, Parker will fix it.
