sweet set up. i was going to get a 6" axion stabilizer, but they have
gotten some mixed reviews. i have always used the sims stuff, and wanted to try something longer, with a little more weight on the front.
i narrowed my choices down to 6" axion, 6" stealth or b-stinger.
i ended up getting the 6" stealth with the weight kit. i am looking forward
    to trying it out.

    hoosier..that thing is a beauty!

i hike out thurday for my big hunt. going to a super secret public spot..hope the secret isnt out when i get there. hiking in for a day. staying out for a few. backpacking it in. tent city!

my bow was love/hate for awhile. that damn thing was out of spec, and i didnt know it. tuning it was hell. our .340" spine arrows..the guys at mathews thinks we could go stiffer to a .300"!! i may try it. my arrows are exactly like your,,even the 28.5" cut length.

i can drill a broadhead out there..best group was 4" at 60 yards. the worst, i wont talk about..:).

now i have serving separation on the new string. unbelievable. i think i can get it warrantied but i dont want another stocker. i have a set of World's Best Strings ready to be installed. they are a thing of beauty. he serves the loops! amazing. i wont mess with the bow until i get back. my serving sep was at the yoke cables one either side of the idler wheel. keep an eye out on yours.

i also changed my grip over to an older thicker one..just like my SBXT grip. my shots got better, and my DL seems perfect now.

    ^^Great looking Bowtech!!

Thanks V!! I've seen the mixed reviews too but thought I would give it a try.
thanks dude!! Hope you have great success on the hunt!!!

thanks for the heads up, I will keep an eye on my string and cables.

Can you expand a little on the tuning problems you were having? Just curious so I know if I'm having any of the same problems. Thanks!!

hoosier. my bow shop is manned my idiots.

here was my bow's problem. i kept getting a left tear on paper. kept moving my rest back and forth..left tear. i went back to the shop..to their credit, they got it papertuned..but my rest was slammed hard against the riser, and they moved to a 125gr head. WTF? like anybody, i researched the problem on the NET. i measured my idler wheel..it was leaning too much! if you lay an arrow on the left of the idler (righty bow) wheel..the arrow should angle towards the bowsting a tad. the end of the arrow should be about an 1/8th" from the nock point. mine was crossing the bowstring. the bowtech refused to fix it, and stayed with this crazy centershot and 125 gr arrow. i knew he was full of shit. so i went to another shop..he took one look, and said my idler was leaning too much. he put 3 twist in the right yoke cable..bam 1/8th inch! back to the drawing board. i retuned. i check for rest height, fixed the QAD trigger cord (yours looks PERFECT!), set my rest to centershot of 13/16th off the riser..and bow shoots 100 grains perfectly.

i never papertune anymore..messes with my head. i shoot fieldtips & my broadheads out at 30-40 yards and move my rest until both hit the same spot. done.

that jerkoff bowtech...the very next time i got new strings, the idler would have been straightened and his wacky tune would have been way off.

i got inspired, and ordered a Nitehawk portable bow press. $100. i need to learn to DIY.

excellent help aficianado!! Thank you and I will be keeping a check on my lean. I have read about that and thankfully my Mathews dealer has been a dealer since the 80's and he's well known in this area and the second largest dealer in Indiana and goes to school to know how to keep these new bows setup. I should have good support in him......hey brother if you respond, lets take this to the archery talk thread so we don't clutter this one.(I subscribe to it too) Thanks again and bring back pictures of the harvests!!

here is my PSE Nova and me shootin it a few years back.it has since been upgraded to a good sight, a drop away rest, and carbon arrows with 100gr broadheads. killed a few deer with it. i accidentally dry fired it at the start of this season though. pretty much just went out to shoot it after not having shot for a year because i cant bring it to college and just pulled back and let go without nocking an arrow. didnt crack the limbs but the accuracy is gone. i missed 2 deer already because of it so i will be getting a new one after this season is done and they go on sale. oh well, i was thinkin about upgrading anyways sometime soon
