I checked it with bow square and level and the nock and arrow rest are perfect, it must be the angle of the photo. I will try and get another couple pics at full draw. The shop I got it from is the best around and they really know there stuff.

on some bows (my Hoyt) for best broadhead flight i had to shoot it a little nock high. still shot almost perfect bullet holes (almost) but my broadheads and field points shot the same so no adjustments needed.

what are you getting?????????? inquiring minds want to know LOL

have you checked out the specs on the diamond dead eye????? i really like the specs on that bow i can not wait to shoot one and test it out. also the pse EVO is getting awesome review, they say it has the smoothest draw on the market. these are about the last bows i need to test before i decide if i am buying a new bow this year or keeping what i got.

i have a hidden (from my wife) jar of money..i'm saving for an ELITE "hunter". i want more ATA, so the hunter may still be a tad short. we will see. their retired GT500 was perfect. if i find a NIB 2010, i may pounce.

BBUUUUTTT! my Z7 and i are finally hitting our stride. after getting mathews to fess up to their fuck up..i am all plumbed up.

i stepped back next to my car, and shot these at 40 yards. my broadheads and fieldtips are jacking the same spot. i am getting accurate!

the factory ran the cable thru the cable guard where the string should go, and the string where the cable should go.

i kept having to add twist to the right yoke cable to straighten the idler. too many twist jacks up a cable fast!! (think twisted up extension cord or garden hose). nobody could diagnose the problem. my bow was random. it would shoot super accurate, then fling a broadhead around a corner. i chased a moving bow tune. again..nobody. i went to 4 shops, and had my cables changed TWICE..they followed the factory and kept the routing messed up. i was in texas, hoping for a 20 yard hog shot..i was staring at my bow, and wondering why one roller guard was anodized red, and the other black..then it hit me!! i ran back to camp and looked at every mathews hanging up..i was right!! thanks GOD i had taken a picture before i changed cables..i emailed them to mathews..the VP called me in 3 days. they didnt do shit but send me a free set of cables and a bunch of ball caps.. but i was satisfied that mathews stepped up and called me. they called the dealership to find my phonenumber. it was cool. i had hoped they invite me to there happy hunting grounds..but no.

i do love my Z7 now. getting used to the shorty bow. i am gonna kill some turkey with it, and seal the deal.

Wow what a fluke. I have had a couple of issues in the past and I have always had really good customer service with matthews. There's nothing worse than spending 1000 dollars on a new bow and hating it.

    225..

from what i gathered..the 09 is like our mathews..well my mathews. you need to change cams to change DL. the 10 has modules. not a big deal, since i quit growing 20 years ago. BUT, the 10 has an improved bushing at the cams. there were some early pains with the cams wobbling.

i did find one guy with new 09's willing to install 2010 cams and bushings..

i really dig the ELITES. super smooth. that grip will take getting used to tho.

    thanks buddy.
what are you shooting now? you killing any turkeys this year?
