Yeah, looking good, very good. They've definitely grown on me, maybe it's the uniqueness. I really like the look of the one for sale on Craigslist in reno. I think the shell and lift and SC help me like the look as well, especially the SC, lolol

That red color is nice. Good looking truck.

 

This was mine a few years back. I ended up putting it back to stock and selling it at the beginning of last year. It was a great truck!

 

Nice looking trucks, guys. Those things look so sweet with slightly larger tires (than stock) and a little modding. And the care you've put into them is impressive.

I think it was called salsa red. Not 100% sure though.

 

Pretty cool to see a stepside bed hanging off the back of a standard cab.

Terrific. Also, I think that red color that I see occasionally on Stepsides is the most stunning. I like my Lunar Mist color but just from excitement standard, the red is the one.

Question: why does the front bumper appear to look chrome finish in the pic, but the rest of the trim is red, including rear bumper?

 

That's a great question, but I have no idea why some are painted and others are chrome.
Scanning through google images shows something of a 50/50 split.

My '03 has 6K miles and shows no evidence of repair to the front, so I'm 99.9% certain that's how she was built. The wheels aren't correct, but I'm working on that.
