Nice ,I was checking those Wolf Pups out on line . My Gulf Stream weighs 2945 . Going to look at travel trailers this morning and possibly sell mine outright. Bed not big enough , electric fridge sucks ( want propane option ) ,trailer sits too low to the ground and window by the bed is a poor design . It doesn’t really matter the brand they are all pretty much built poorly . My black tank valve just started leaking also . Thing is only 2 years old

 

I don’t think I’ll be towing it with my Taco.

 

Looks like a nice toy hauler, perfect..... I'll tow it with this, but I'll have to kick the chrome dog out of the bed though.....

 

2021 Jayco 184BS Baja. Only towed it with the truck empty and not reconfigured the WDH yet or the trailer brakes after moving it from our old 2008 F150 but it seems to tow fine. Full 7 day family haul and set up this weekend so will report back.

 

Looked at a Coleman Rubicon at Camping World yesterday ,$30k . Nice trailer similar to Forest River Geo Pro . Going to do some customization to my Gulf Stream for now and see how it goes . Possibly new springs or an AAL ,sits way too low to the ground . Bed platform not big enough to support about 4” of mattress on the edge . I need a propane fridge /freezer to put outside the door since mine is tiny and only runs on 110

Rental weekend. I had to use a bit more skinny pedal, and quite a bit more gas, and even some more rpm’s, but she got me through the hills and to my destination without any concern. Probably 4K lbs loaded.

~4K dry is about where I would want to be maxed for a box style trailer. Airstream or other efficient trailer, perhaps a little more.

 

So far so good with the Wolf Pup!!! Other than the stock mattress really being poor condition, I have zero complaints with the unit!

 

Probably last trip this year .Only used the thing twice this summer .

 

Still have the trailer, the new truck (Taco) can’t pull it.

 

Is that an Intech Flyer Explore? How do you like it? I was thinking about buying one to haul my Harley in it, if it fits...

Jokes aside, with just my airbags, that pulls really well. I usually don’t have 2 bikes back there.

 

Well I went and done did it ! Upgraded the springs along with an axle flip . Huge amount of clearance now . Upgraded the tires from 4 ply to 6 ply and added accessible bearing buddies .Also got a spare tire and spare mount on the way! All said and done .$1300

 

Gave it a scrub down then used bed liner on the inner fender wells and cleaned up the tires .

 

Pretty dinky little travel trailer but it checks all the boxes, especially bathroom, shower, and AC. 2470 dry and 170 tongue weight. Have Firestone Ride Rite bags and have had no issues. Pretty glad to have n hurricane country as a bug out box.

 

First trip in my new trailer. About 4400 lbs
