Well, I won't beat any mileage records, but my base, '96 2.4, standard-cab had '71K when I bought it for $400 two years ago. Wouldn't go in 1st or 3rd gear. Tranny fixed cheap by myself. Added a $300 used ARE cap.
It has 78,455 now. Will be putting more miles on it since I installed AC this spring!

While it's still pretty basic and primitive compared to my '96 Camry, with the addition of AC and a decent audio-system, it's no longer the penalty-box it once was.

Well, it's already got AC, and the white ARE cap I added to my light-blue Tacoma would already match this one. It looks like mine's the lowest mileage '96 though.
So I think I'll just hang on to the nearly $10K, and settle for #37, or whatever my overall ranking happens to wind up at.

I have tried to get a couple of trucks from them. They are expensive but as you can see they cover everyyyyyyything.

P.S. I think that one is sold. I would hit them up and they will send you a list of the inventory and the prices. They are very up front about everything.

 

I came in late after an auction for a 2004 4Runner that was amazingly sharp with a lift, new tires, Limited Ed., it didn't meet reserve, but I checked afterwards and it sold for 14,900, a good buy. Their prices are high, but if they were closer, I would go check out their listings.

This 1995 v6 reg Tacoma has 39,000 miles, my reg tacoma v6 has 535,000

 

Off topic question for this group under the 100K miles:

Are you waiting for the 90,000 or 20 yr anniversary whatever comes 1st to change T belt and water pump?

I'm in that stage waiting for 2020 or 90K ( driven belts are new by the way i believe sparkplugs are also originals) wondering if u are on same page for that ?
