WTF are you talking about? My bumper offers more clearance than the stock bumper and far more protection. It was designed with just enough clearance inside to fit a winch with a integrated solenoid pack on top(like my Warn XD9000i), or even a Warn Powerplant winch. Lets see your allpro bumper do that! Last I checked, the allpro limited owners to winches with remote solenoid pack and their bumper is heavier than mine too.

Hardly offer the approach angles of the All-Pro. Glad you like it. And the only way the all-pro is heavier is if yours is made of aluminum as it appears. How's that hold up when doing any real off-roading? Ever bump a tree with it yet? I mowed over a dear and only got a scratch.

Thats the good thing about the internet, we can all voice our opinions.

a winch with remote should be the standard....i mean, you dont wanna stand in the triangle, especially if using a steel cable---dumb---and with a remote, can get better views of what is happening by standing (usually up to 30 ft) in a better vantage point of the pulling. cause it can get hairy and sometimes your pulling someone up a ledge to keep them from fallin off, not always a straight tug

They all have a remote. He is talking about a remote mounted solenoid pack, meaning not mounted on top of the winch. That it what the remote plugs in to.
