oh thats not mud. thats carolina red clay, and apparently once you get it, you never get rid of it. it's the herpes of trucks. i spent over an hour with a hose under my truck just spraying everything off. then i took it to get fully detailed. engine steam, polish, buff, wax, wash all that. and every single time it rains red muddy water leaks out of the crease's and gets all over the paint. it is coming out from behind the fog lights, the engine bay and the creases between body panels, out of the grill.... its endless. and now i'm noticing red dust on my rims, so obviously there is some dried mud somewhere up in there that is coating my rims like brake dust.

and actually i like the color of the rims after they were coated in the mud. i think if you got that powder coated that color it would look good on a black truck. sort of reminds me of the rims on the V8 concept tacoma
