I always dreamt of having a 77/22 but at the mean time my other rim fires are flooding the safe maybe in a couple more years

I've wanted one for some time as well...they're a well built and beautiful little rifle, but over priced (IMO). I wouldn't have this one if I hadn't got a smokin' deal. I had my eye on this one for a while...one of my local shops had it on the shelf at regular price for a couple of years, then marked it down by $150. It still didn't sell after a couple months, so they put it on the clearance rack with an additional 25% off. I couldn't say no.

Nice and that's the steal deal...wish most gun shops do this once a year to rid the olds and make room for the news.

I'd love to have one, but up here they make owning a handgun (even a l'il .22 plinker) a royal pain in the bawls.

Does squirrel taste like South American guinea pig? I saw some action there and a local cooked some up, but I’ve not tried domestic squirrel.

    Stock and staying that way
I have three, but no pics of 2 of them. A S&W 15-22 is the one I shoot the most. A PWS Summit (S/N 24) is the another.

    This is my 10/22 SBR.

    Nice looking rifle there.

I recently picked up a BL-22 Grade 2 which appears to be unfired
but did not come with box or anything. Also came with a vintage
Weaver V22-A scope that looks to have been discontinued in 1964.

Anyway my serial number is located under the receiver and not on the right
side which is where it should be from what I have found on searches. I
however cannot find anything talking about why it would be underneath.
Only found 1 place that had info on my serial number. Is a year 1971. Does
anyone else have one like this or is your s/n on the side?

1969 was the first year and that serial number location is normal for the early BL-22s. I think the serial number location switch may have been around 1980 or so...

    Nice rifle.

I picked this SA-22 up last weekend, and opened her up for a good scrub.
Just for sh!ts and giggles, I think I'll convert it to fire .22 Shorts only. Should make for a fun little plinker...

It looks worse than it is...if you can handle a 10/22, you can take one of these apart.
