Yes‼️ If you are using all blocks to lower they work just fine. As the shock mounts stay in the same place it’s just the rear end/axle that moves up. Now if you did all spring drop then you need shorter shocks. Just look at the rear and you can see what I’m talking about. The shocks mount below the axle on the Spring/Shock perch.

Cool, be sure to give feedback on the shock change. Will help others that may be on the fence down the road.

Sorry to say most parts guys work on a small hourly rate and commission most of their income is commission! I only replace wearable parts and rubber that rots, like the dust boots. The new shocks come with ALL NEW bushings, nuts & washers (everything you need) If memory serves me right you can remove the upper mount/s with a 17mm. Me personally I would contact the store management and file a complaint. But (sorry) your stock mounting plates could have pretty badly rusted nuts? IDK… AZ all soft part rots from the dry heat, back East metal rusts because of the humidity & salt used in the winter.
Oh, taking a second look you are missing the top rubber bushings for the rear shocks and the front 48510Q washer on the front shocks.

Hey friend please do me a favor! Please take the truck to the best welder / fabricator you can find and have them completely weld in the notches. Have them pull off the notches coat them inside and out in weldable primer then weld them in. Sorry but the notches you have, have issues causing frame cracks.
It’s not cheap but it’s good insurance.

Hey when you changed the struts did you take apart your control arms?

I just watched a video with an xrunner and the guy just dropped the sway bar.

I also remove the two bolts from the back side of the UCA because I didn’t want to fight and or scratch the front coil-overs / struts. But give it a try, there is more with the DJM UCA’s. When I changed coil-overs on MX-5’s / Miata’s I would rap a small towel around them to keep from scratching them. But I’m an anal Mofo… :D

Do you have a spring compressor? Be very careful and extremely careful if you’re using suicide sticks. They call them that for a reason!

Oh, Break the top nut lose (just a turn) first before trying to use the Death Sticks!
And take your time. We don’t won’t to have your next post from your wife telling us you are in the Hospital or worse! Ask me how I know! I had one slip and using large ViseGrips to keep the stick from sliding and one side slipped causing the ViseGrip to fly and hit my front tooth causing the need to have a bridge from the dentist when I was 17. Still have the bridge.
    :anonymous:

That’s why I now have a OTC commercial spring compressor mounted on the wall in the garage. Here’s a stupid video.

Just a stupid question did you happen to compare the lengths of the front shocks? My front Viking coil-over shocks are right at an inch shorter than the Tokico stocks.

Here’s my new setup. The spring needs to be preloaded. Once it’s preloaded the Viking decal is partly covered. There’s also a big difference between the 07 Reg. Cab springs & the 15 Access Cab springs‼️

THIS is my goal… Beefed, what’s the drop and wheel size and offset here? Figuring out what wheels/offsets I need is kicking my ass
