I work in an office with the senior network engineer. Can't take a pic, but I have a 70" as a third monitor. I also have parts, switches, firewalls, and such laying all over the place. I would love to have some of these other jobs you guys have.

That is a pretty big 980. Is that why it is a 980 G? I have never ran one of those. I have ran a 980,988, and a 992 I like the 992 the best that thing seemed like it would load a truck across the river.

Company just sent the G out to be totally re-conned at 14000 hours and then purchased a NEW 980K for a 2nd mid-size CAT .....that is SWEET ...all joy stick controls BUT no rear window site....back-up camera is now standard and a total emmisions package...sounds like a dam jet when it "Re-gens".....

That is why I like my "OFFICE"....any day can be adventurous with having to load myself with anything from a 345 CAT excavator to a 380 Komatsu loader or anything in between....:D

Nice anything I ran was old cat 980,988, and 992. They just got the Kawasaki version of the 992 but I never ran it. The Cat's were old and rough but I loved it and running equipment is what I miss most of the quarry job.

I currently lead many lives, including bike mechanic, student and fabricator, but my "career choice" as i gues you'd call it, is a project manager. Current project is a 14,000 square foot mansion for a high-end design build firm. has it's ups and downs like any job, but i love not having to go to work in an office every day.
