Let's see your cats!! (No, not converters...)

I adopted mine last yearyear from petsmart. She technically shouldn't have been picked up and put in a cage.

She is a feral or neighborhood cat her ear has already been tipped she is very sweet now doesn't go outside and loves to be right beside you.

I have a tortie too - sweet as can be but as dumb as a box of rocks (no offense to the rocks..)

 

Tortitude is a real thing haha. And she'll pur like no other cat I've ever met (granted I was never a cat person, damn girlfriend) it's crazy.

She's a pretty good hunter though. There was a bat in our house..the other cat just sat there hunched down and watched it while our tortie was jumping around swatting at it...she actually knocked it down out of the air!

My natural born stubby. I had a stubby Maine coon when I lived in Florida and waited a long time until picking out a new furry friend here in Michigan.
Waldo aka Monkey Face is out door by day and indoor at night. We live in the woods with coyotes, fox, wolf, owl, and I like him too much to worry all night. He rides in the 1990 Hilux and the work van but not leaving fur in the new Taco yet. He doesn't let any of our dogs get in his way and will perch on my shoulder for bike rides, walks through the woods or skate boarding main st downtown.

 

Sounds just like my tortoiseshell, Loki. She is as dumb as she is talkative.

 

Ten years ago, I got the cat a dog the same day, took awhile for them to get use to each other


They're still best friends


When they were younger the played together, well the dog played with the cat by grabing it by the back of the next and running away with him.

Unreal... Most I ever got out of a cat was 16.

 

Loki is 20 and still thinks my Border Collie is his wife. Don't think he has much time left.
Loki and the Border Collie follow me everywhere even on hikes.

Sad news, Loki has fractured his leg and is having trouble walking. The X-ray of the fracture also showed a tumor. He is having trouble passing bowels, quality of life in question. Going to give it a few days before I decide if I need to put him down. The family is taking turns holding him, he is and has bin a stellar being and member of my family.

 

So sorry to read this Paul. Never an easy situation to be in.
for your little furry friend.

 

Thank you, he gave us 20 years of joy, it's hard letting go but it's about his quality of life. He will be missed.
