Thanks guys, but I know she didn't go down without a fight. She used to bring home at least one bird every day, and even a few rabbits. I wouldn't be surprised if she took down a few coyotes in the fight.

This is Jack, hes about 2 or three and hes also from the humane society. Not as much of a hunter as the other two but hes one of those funny random cats.

Scotty and little girl have been around quite some time considering how short our other cats have lasted. Most of our cats dont come home so we assume the coyotes and fisher cats, and bob cats get to them.

Okay guys, I don't want to derail this thread but I have a couple of questions. I live in an apartment so my cat is an indoor cat. I had his nails clipped the other day at the animal hospital close by, and they informed me because it takes 3 people to clip his nails(he's a feisty sumbitch!), they are going to start charging $15 extra from now on. I do not want to have him de-clawed. Does anybody have any tips for clipping nails? Also, he gets angry when I don't feed him when he wants food and will bite/attack me. Any ideas as how to make him stop, without feeding him everytime would be greatly appreciated.

I used to wrap my cat up in a towel and "sit" on her with one paw out at a time to clip her nails.... over time she got better. They make a restraint for cats for this very reason.... http://www.vetmed.wsu.edu/ClientED/cat_restraint.aspx

Do you have an extra room you can shut him in when he's being a turd (or get a dog kennel and shut him in there)

Thank you!! That is a really good idea!! I will definitely give the towel maneuver a try! I usually put him in the bathroom when he starts attacking. He's better after a few minutes in there, but I was looking for some ideas on "training" him not to bite.
