It might be too late for you cat. We adopted Amigo at an estimated 12 weeks old. I massaged his paws and brushed him every day. Now when it comes time to clip his nails it only takes about 2 min to do both front claws.

He will actually bat at the brush fo me to brush him.

    GTFO LOL

Unless that is really your cat then by all means post up some action pics. ;)

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
Neutered? If not, make it happen.

Squirt bottle is a good deterent. He's prolly feeling cooped up. Cats need to "play", especially indoor cats. Get some toys for him to take out his aggression and practice his hunting skills.

I've seen a scratching pad somewhere that supposedly grooms their nails when they scratch it. Ask veternarian for advice.

Jerry Fudd came a-knockin on a friend's door, emaciated and deathly. They have cats and dogs, and couldn't help him. We live rurally, so shelters don't exist.
A few months previous, we had put down the second of our sick 20 yr old cats, and now rabbits, squirrels and mice were having a "field" day.
I told the wife to go get him. Named him after a friend who recently died, same colour hair as the cat. Last name is obvious...

Oscar and Ozone, both died this year within a month of each other. Both were 15yrs old. We found Oscar, black and white, abandond in a snow storm. She was about 5 weeks old. We got Ozone to keep Oscar company while we were on vacations. When Ozone died of kidney failure Oscar just gave up. Had no idea that would happen, sucked.

The first one is Levi, he's a bastard. He thinks he's better than everyone else.

Aurora is the Peach Puff ball. Kinda flighty but if you lay down she'll try and smother your face and kneed the hell out of you with her claws.

Leo is the Orange tard in the tower. Biggest scaredy cat you ever saw. And yet out of all the cats, he's the bravest outdoors and around vacuum cleaners. But people? If you look at him he runs away. Him an Aurora are siblings.
