We had to put down one of our cats, Tiger, this past week. It was one of the hardest things I've had to do and I cried like a little girl. Way harder than I thought it was going to be. She had kidney problems for the last couple years but finally was approaching kidney failure and we did not want her to go through any further pain.

18 years she was my best friend. :(

Here's our cats. We want to get a dog for them to play with later on, but right now they're pretty content entertaining themselves. Haha2018-03-21 14.04.40.jpg

Life from a 14 year old.

Took the new cat to get fixed today. This evening after the cat was home, we are talking about him and what not. My 14 year old son goes, not a he any more, it's just a cat now.

She looked like a real sweetie :( I'm Sorry too. 18 years is a long damn time and the way these little animals can wiggle their way into your life and get hold of your heart is why it's so hard on a person WITH heart.
    I feel ya man.

I am so sorry for your loss. My wife and I are dealing with a similar grief and it sucks. Her and I have both worked for veterinarians and have spent plenty of time putting animals to sleep unfortunately. It is always sad, always. But I never realized just how hard it is on the other side of the table. I’m just so sorry to hear that someone else lost their best friend too. Take care!

Our three awaiting treats last night...

On a side note, I think Harry is as big as he’s going to get... he’s still significantly smaller than Ollie. He’s over 9months old and in my experience cats are pretty much at full size by then.
My daughter loves it - she thinks she’s got a permanent kitten.

I love the little ones. They make better lap cats. We fostered one that was full grown and under 4 pounds. She literally looked like a kitten and still does. We found her begging on the patio of a local a restaurant and kept her until she was healthy, got her fixed, and got her shots up-to-date. It was a Chinese place, so we named her Dumpling. One of the girls at work took her after several months. She's got a great home now.

We couldn't catch a break trying to get a small cat, Enzo was a total runt and we got him when he was probably too young to be adopted. He's 15 pounds lol (He got up to 20 but then had to go on a diet, vet still says he could lose a pound or two). Phoebe we adopted later (probably 3-4 months old) and was tiny compared to Enzo who was 1 at the time, now she's 10 lbs. And Lola is the lightest at 7 or so, but is as long as Enzo. She's just really fluffy which is awesome haha.

My buddy from work has two cats, Pickles and Pebbles. Pickles is like a year and MIGHT weigh 5 lbs, and Pebbles is still a kitten but tiny. o_O What gives??

But I digress, I love my fur children and Enzo acts like a dog so he's a good buddy to have
